About Sean Mcleod
Sean Mcleod has lived along the Northern Beaches for most of his life and is currently working as a registered nurse in Manly. Before then, he spent 12 years working backstage at the Sydney Opera House and has seen firsthand how government facilities can become corrupt and out of control with spending and management.
Sean has decided to run in federal politics with the Libertarian Party because the libertarian message resonates with him the strongest and he believes their goals are a kin to the Australia he grew up in. We cannot have another Labor nor Liberal government without someone making sure they are adhering to the original tenets that they were supposed to uphold.

I’ve lived along the Northern Beaches for most of my life, and right now, I’m working as a registered nurse in Manly. Before this, I spent 12 years working backstage at the Sydney Opera House, a job that opened my eyes to a lot of things. I saw firsthand how government-run facilities can spiral out of control, with spending ballooning and management losing sight of what’s right. It wasn’t just a paycheck for me. Those years showed me how easily power can twist even the best of intentions.
That’s why I’ve decided to run in federal politics with the Libertarian Party. Their message hits home for me like nothing else as I’m sure it does for many Australians. It’s not just talk; it’s a vision that lines up with the Australia I grew up in; It was a place where people were trusted to live their lives without heavy-handed interference, where fairness and freedom weren’t just buzzwords. I look at the Labor and Liberal governments we’ve had, and I can’t shake the feeling that they’ve drifted far from the principles they were meant to stand for. We can’t keep letting that slide. Someone’s got to step up and hold them accountable, to remind them what they’re supposed to be about. That’s where I come in—I’m running because I believe in a better way, and I’m ready to fight for it.
As the Libertarian candidate for Warringah, I will champion individual freedom, limited government, and free-market principles that will drive us into prosperity. Voters can expect unwavering commitment to personal responsibility by reducing bureaucratic overreach and protecting civil liberties. The Libertarian Party wants to lower taxes, deregulate bureaucratic red tape, and have a non-interventionist foreign policy, which includes foreign wars not started by us. We advocate for privacy rights, free speech, and voluntary cooperation. By prioritizing economic freedom and personal choice we reduce centralized control. We inspire trust in voters seeking practical, principled solutions. It is up to you to choose this path I will lay down in front of you. Vote 1 for the Libertarian party and regain your freedoms.
