About Marika Momircevski
Marika Momircevski was born in Sydney to Macedonian immigrant parents, grew up in St Peters, Tempe, and later Padstow. She graduated from East Hills Girls High School in 1993 and earned a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Sydney University in 1996. Spent 24 years at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital, advancing through various roles while earning a Master’s in Clinical Cardiovascular Nursing. Married for 26 years with three children. Currently working in disability and teaches in a tertiary setting.
A dedicated advocate for nurses' rights, Marika served as branch president for a decade. She is now applying her passion for positive change to the Banks community. She is committed to reducing taxes, cutting red tape, limiting government debt, and improving free speech laws. As a voice for everyday Australians, she stands against the failures of past and present politicians, striving for a better future for her community.
To the Banks Community
I was born to Macedonian immigrant parents and raised in inner Sydney and Padstow. After graduating from East Hills Girls High in 1993 and earning a Nursing degree from Sydney University, I spent 24 years working at our local hospital, advancing through various roles and completing a Master’s in Clinical Cardiovascular Nursing. Along the way, I raised three children and now work in disability care and tertiary education.
As a passionate advocate for nurses' rights, I’m now focused on bringing positive change to Banks. I’m committed to reducing taxes, cutting red tape, limiting government debt, and protecting free speech. Having recently started my own business and supported my husband’s, I’ve seen firsthand how over-regulation and excessive taxation stifle growth and innovation. Small businesses, in particular, are being held back by burdens that only large corporations can manage.
I believe in lower taxes, family values, and true freedom. The current political system is undermining our communities, and it's time for change. I’m ready to fight for that change for Banks.
