About Isaac Chalik
Isaac Chalik was born in Ukraine (then part of Soviet Union) and grew up in Bondi. He gained a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University before working in Westpac and then US based Chase Bank before establishing his own property finance business to assist people buy homes and invest in property. Isaac moved to the Central Coast with his wife in 2017 where they work to feed five (yes 5) dogs and a local flock of kookaburras. Isaac is also a solicitor and enjoys helping people with practical common sense advice. He has 2 grown sons living in Sydney.
Isaac believes Australia is being strangled by regulations and taxes. He is concerned about the creep of socialist ideas into Australia and that is exactly what his family escaped from. Democracy only works if there is genuine political opposition and a battle of ideas while the Liberal Party no longer represents conservative voters. Government overreach during COVID really sparked his desire to engage in politics and fight for more personal freedoms.
To the Dobell Community
My family escaped from the socialist Soviet Union and came to Australia in 1978. I grew up in Sydney and studied a Bachelor of Economics degree. I could buy my first property on a casual income working at Bondi Beach. After working in a couple of banks, I grew a small business in finance consulting and later was a partner in other small technology and retail businesses. Later, I gained a Bachelor of Laws and became a solicitor to help clients with my practical commercial and life experience.
Life was normal and simple. Labor and Liberals had clearly different policies. Greens cared about the environment. Now both major parties are driven by woke nonsense and climate change fearmongering. The Greens seems to care more about foreign wars and the Teals are just Labor/Greens in disguise.
Elections feel like just a process required by law but don’t result in any meaningful improvement. The beaurocrats (the so called deep state) now run the show regardless of who wins elections. I feel the creep of socialist ideas like the stories my parents told me about growing up.
Democracy only works if there is genuine political opposition and free speech. The Liberal Party no longer represents conservative voters. Australia is being strangled by regulations and taxes. Government overreach during COVID really sparked my desire to engage in politics and fight for more personal freedoms. One of my favourite political quotes is,
"The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the good people who don't do anything about it." - Einstein
