To the Macarthur Community
My roots here trace back to 1973, when I was one of the first residents of Ruse. My early memories include watching my mother make weekly calls from the iconic red phone booth in Kentlyn and attending Sunday School there, which speaks to my long-standing connection to this area. After attending East Campbelltown Public School, I proudly graduated as part of the inaugural Year 6 class at Ruse Primary School in 1978.
My childhood was marked in the 70’s by adventures on my bike through Ruse's streets and later, as a young adult in the 80’s, spending time at Bradbury Tavern, and many other local haunts. I attended Leumeah High School where I also represented our region in both school and amateur athletics competitions at regional and state levels.
Before my entrepreneurial ventures, I worked as an anaesthetic nurse, including some shifts at Campbelltown Private Hospital when my children were young, giving me a broad perspective on community health and well-being.
Professionally, I am an entrepreneur, currently owning three small businesses within Macarthur, reflecting my commitment to local economic growth and community welfare. I raised my five children in the nearby Camden area and continue to call Macarthur home, illustrating my deep personal investment in this region. I have witnessed the evolution of our community firsthand, from the opening and closing of local businesses, to the transformation of our main streets, and the formation of new suburbs.
My dedication to Macarthur is both personal and professional, driving my candidacy to serve you with integrity and passion.
I ask for your vote in the sincere belief that we can do better.
Yours in Liberty,
